Old version better quality and more supportive
"I have these exact shorts from a few years ago. As soon as I took the new ones out of the pack, I could feel and see the difference in quality. The new ones are thinner and as a result the “ nothing to see here” label isn’t as trust worthy as it once was. I use these for running, I wouldn’t use them for the gym with weights and squatting etc. The fit is still the same as the old pair for sizing, but they are not the same thickness of material so the supportive element is not what it used to be and even the pockets don’t hold my stuff the way the old ones do. I’ve kept these shorts out of necessity (and having multiple gift cards I need to use), but in future I think I’ll be shopping elsewhere for shorts of higher quality."
